The Right Sprayer For The Job
Before buying a sprayer, make certain that the sprayer you select
is the best choice for the job you need to do. Some sprayers can
be used for a variety of tasks, but many are designed specifically
with a particular job in mind.
Sprayers are useful and convenient for a variety of jobs around the
house and outdoors.
From weed and insect control to wood preservation
and sealing and from wallpaper removal to cleaning and degreasing,
sprayers make the job easier, faster, and provide excellent results.
Sprayers are available in a variety of shapes and sizes. Nearly all commercial
and home sprayers come with either a plastic or metal tank, a rubber hose,
and metal or plastic attachments.
The main parts of a typical sprayer are a tank, a pump, a hose, an extension,
a shut-off, and a spray nozzle.
Metal or Plastic?
Both metal and polyethylene sprayers are designed to provide years
of dependable use. Provided they are thoroughly cleaned between
uses, metal sprayers can be used for a variety of jobs. On Chapin
metal sprayers, a Tri-Poxy® coating process inhibits corrosion
on all interior seams, welds, crevices, bottoms and walls. Polyethylene
sprayers can be labeled for specific uses to ensure the safe application
of all sprayed chemicals.
Warning

When activated, most sprayers contain chemicals under pressure.
For the safety of the sprayer operator and everyone in the area
of spraying, be sure you read and understand all warnings and safety
precautions included on the operating instructions or posted on
